Vanessa Binder

Vanessa Binder has a BA in Fine Arts and in Fashion Design and has been working as an art director, graphic designer, and illustrator freelance, developing projects for both design houses and advertising agencies.

Her work looks sweet and naïve with a pinch of salt and pepper. She tends to embrace organic, symbolic, wonky, and whimsical things but is also totally devoted to the simplicity of the Bauhausesque.

She develops original artwork, surface pattern designs, and hand lettering for various formats and products, both hand-drawn and digital. She also loves old-school-traditional botanical designs, folk Nordic art, and traditional British textile arts among other things.
